FreeBSD Wireless Access Point (Router)

The files provided here can be used to set up a FreeBSD box as a wireless access point/router/firewall.

Of course they are intended to suppliement the FreeBSD handbook and not to replace it. Please be sure to read the following:

• Wireless Network
• The OpenBSD Packet Filter (PF) and ALTQ
• My HowTo for Using FreeBSD as a Wireless Access Point

Note:

• isc-dhcp3-server's default configuration is located in /usr/local/etc not /etc as demonstrated in this directory tree.
• This setup has been used successfully under FreeBSD 6 and 7. On alternative versions, YMMV.
